The 75th flight of the Ariane 5 carried MEASAT 3b for Malaysia and Optus 10 for Australia satellites into orbit. Launch was delayed about 45 minutes due to some technical issues at the pad. <br /> <br />MEASAT 3b will be positioned at 91.5 degrees east and has 48 Ku-band transponders for Malaysia, Indonesia and India. Optus 10 will be positioned at 164 degrees east and has 24 Ku-band transponders for broadcast services to households in Australia and New Zealand.
